Principal photography for the short film The Woman in the Mirror has begun!
The Woman in the Mirror is a short biopic studying the mysterious legacy of street photographer Vivian Maier. The eccentric nanny (described by more than one acquaintance as a "real-life Mary Poppins") has become one of the most famous figures in the art world, yet no one was aware of the extent of her work during her lifetime. Only after her death did more than 100,000 undeveloped negatives come to light.
Starring Ella Rasp in the titular role, The Woman in the Mirror is slated for a Fall 2015 release.
