We're getting "our" P-40 fighter plane ready for shooting this summer!
Had a wonderful time at Fagen Fighters WWII Museum last week to continue preparations for our Tiger of the White Sun airfield scene this July. As always, Mr. Ron Fagen and his staff were incredibly kind and made us feel at home as we began two long days of work.
Mr. Fagen called in an order of Chinese decals for use on the P-40; they will replace the United States Army Air Force stars that originally adorned the fuselage and wings of the plane.
After shooting our promotional video, we spent some time pre-visualizing the camera movements and choreography that will be used in our ground-and-air scene. The sequence will now involve an original WWII Jeep bearing the markings of the American Volunteer Group's 3rd Pursuit Squadron!
Stay tuned for more news as our first shooting day approaches later this July! For more photos of our pre-production work at Fagen Fighters, click here.
